Estimates and booking

• Online price ranges and instant estimates are general guides, not quotes. Your price is confirmed in a written estimate before work starts.
• An online booking is a request. Your appointment is set when our office confirms it with you.
• If we find more work once a job starts, we'll explain it and get your approval before doing it.

Cancellations

Please let us know as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. You can cancel an online booking from your tracking link before it is confirmed, or by calling 773-440-2252.

Promotions and the prize wheel

• Prize wheel rewards and other promotions apply to the booking they were earned on, have no cash value and can't be combined unless we say so.
• Limit one spin per booking and one per phone number every 30 days. Rewards are applied to your confirmed price.
• We may change or end a promotion at any time. Rewards already earned on a confirmed booking will be honored.

Free DIY guides

Our how-to guides are general information for simple repairs. You are responsible for your own safety, for using tools correctly and for following local codes, permit rules, your lease and HOA rules. If a job involves gas, main electrical service, structural work or anything you're unsure about, stop and call a licensed professional. ProFix is not responsible for damage or injury from work you do yourself.

Workmanship guarantee

Our workmanship guarantee is described on our Resources page and in your job paperwork.

Accounts and portals

Portal accounts are set up by ProFix for active clients and approved subcontractors. Keep your login private and tell us right away if you think someone else has used it. We may suspend access that is misused.

Website content

The ProFix name, logo and website content belong to ProFix Handyman Services LLC. Please don't copy them for commercial use without permission. Links to other sites, such as Google or Yelp, are provided for convenience and we aren't responsible for their content.

Limits

The website is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, ProFix is not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the website. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, except where the law of the state where the work is done must apply.
