- Toggle bolts or screws rated 2x the mirror weight

Step by step
- Step 1
Weigh the mirror (step on a scale with and without it) and buy hardware rated for at least twice that weight.
- Step 2
Mark the hanging height with painter's tape. Center mirrors about 57–60 inches from the floor.
- Step 3
Find studs and plan to hit at least one. Use toggle bolts where there is no stud.
- Step 4
For mirrors over 30 lb, install a French cleat: one half on the mirror, one half level on the wall.
- Step 5
Have a helper lift and set the mirror onto the cleat or hooks, then check it's level.
When to stop and call ProFix
