Tools & materials
- Replacement sweep (match the glass thickness: usually 1/4 or 3/8 inch)
- Tape measure
- Hacksaw or fine-tooth scissors
- Rubbing alcohol
Step by step
- Step 1
Pull the old sweep off the bottom of the glass. It usually slides or pries off.
- Step 2
Clean the glass edge with rubbing alcohol.
- Step 3
Measure the door width and cut the new sweep to length.
- Step 4
Slide or press the new sweep onto the glass with the drip rail facing inside the shower.
- Step 5
Close the door and run the shower to check for leaks.
