Step by step
- Step 1
Clear the cabinet and lie on your back with a flashlight to find the mounting nut(s) on the faucet shank.
- Step 2
Have a helper hold the faucet straight from above.
- Step 3
Tighten the nut with a basin wrench (or the plastic tool from the faucet maker) until the faucet stops moving.
- Step 4
Don't overtighten plastic nuts.
- Step 5
Check the supply line connections while you're under there for drips.
When to stop and call ProFix
